November. It’s a pretty average month for most of us. But for COD fans it signifies something much more important. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is finally coming out.
The franchise has always been popular, but over the years the series has come to be a staple of the video gaming calendar. In 2010, Call of Duty Black Ops wound up as the biggest selling entertainment item of 2010 with the sales surpassing £625 million.
This game, however, follows straight on from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, in which the Russian federation continues its invasion of the United States and has started to attack parts of Europe, including France, England and Germany.
As we’ve previously said, Battlefield 3 is due to for release just a few weeks before Modern Warfare 3, so we could see one of the biggest showdowns in the history of the industry. How will they prove themselves? Well, that’s fairly apparent, see who can make the most noise.
With blasting shells and bashing tanks, the explosive duo will be with us all soon enough – but have you picked one to pre-order yet?
