There are lots of movies that are exclusively made for children. But, when it comes to animated movies, it is just not right to leave “The Lion King” out of the list.

A heart wrenching plot
The setting of the events in the movie is in a place called Pride Rock, a jungle paradise in Africa. King Mustafa, a wise and strong lion rules this harmonious jungle where every animal lives in peace and harmony. The story takes a turn when Simba is born to Mustafa’s wife. Then the evil uncle of Simba, known as Uncle Scar, comes up with an evil plan to acquire the kingdom by force. Scar’s evil plan takes Simba and Mustafa into a valley filled with hyenas where the king meets his fate and dies a bloody death.
With the king dead and Simba being very small to take charge of the kingdom, Uncle Scar along with the group of hyenas takes control of the kingdom. Simba goes into exile where he befriends Timon (meerkat) and Pumbaa (warthog). With the passage of time, a lucky encounter unites Simba with his ultimate destiny to rule the kingdom. This lucky encounter is the designed in the perfect way by the director of the movie to make everyone say a few good words about the luck of this good-looking cub. Well, you need to watch this movie to checkout this entire setting as that’s the turning point which is better left undisclosed.

The Lion king therefore is one of the greatest animated movies and best in this era of computer animations that was created by Disney.
